No domingo, 10, a
bola voltou a rolar nas areias de Barra Velha pelo campeonato de beach soccer.
A competição é uma das seletivas para a etapa estadual que acontecerá em março,
também no município, e esse ano terá uma premiação que totaliza R$10mil.
A rodada iniciou
com o duelo entre Sul Mar e Gralha Azul às 15h.
Para manter a
grandeza do evento, a Fundação de Turismo, Esporte e Cultura montou na Praia
Central uma arena que comporta 1.500 pessoas sentadas.
O diretor de esportes da Fumtec, Leandro Fortunato, explica que serão 16
times divididos em quatro chaves. “A cada rodada acontecerão oito confrontos
até conhecermos os dois melhores de cada grupo que estarão nas quartas de
final.” Segundo ele, o campeão ganhará R$5 mil, o segundo colocado R$3 mil e o
terceiro colocado R$ 2 mil. A equipe melhor disciplinada ainda levará o prêmio
de R$ 300,00. “Estamos trabalhando para ser a melhor seletiva de Beach Soccer
do estado. Além da arena e boa premiação, teremos excelentes equipes na disputa
e um quadro de árbitros federados para conduzir a competição,” disse Leandro.
A final está
marcada para acontecer no dia 21 de fevereiro. O primeiro e segundo colocados
da competição estarão credenciados para o campeonato estadual, organizado em
março pela Federação Catarinense de Beach Soccer. Pela segunda vez a FCBS optou
em trazer o torneio para Barra Velha.
