Um sonho de muitos e a muito tempo esperado está se tornando realidade. A obra de fixação de dragagem da foz do Rio Itajuba foi entregue pela empresa vencedora da licitação para a execução da obra, Baltt Engenharia de Piçarras que encerrou as obras do molhe de fixação na sexta-feira dia 4 e a fixação da margem do Rio até a ponte agora também foi finalizada.
Esta obra que é de grande importância contra as cheias que o bairro sofre devido o assoreamento do rio e também contribuirá e muito para a proteção das embarcações dos pescadores artesanais que já estão utilizando o rio para guardar suas embarcações.
Esta etapa já concluída proporciona mais um local de atração turística e de pesca de arremesso para muitos que gostam da arte.
As obras ainda vão proporcionar, aos proprietários de barcos de pesca que necessitem de acesso ao mar, uma rampa de descida para largar as embarcações no rio e daí adentrarem ao mar.

The dredging of fixing work of the mouth of Itajuba Rio was delivered by the winner of the bid company for the execution of the work, Baltt Piçarras Engineering that ended the works of fixing jetty on Friday 4th and fixing the riverbank to bridge now also been completed.
This work is of great importance against flooding the neighborhood suffers due to the silting of the river and will also contribute and for the protection of vessels of the artisanal fishermen who are already using the river to store their boats.
This step completed already provides more a tourist attraction and baitcasting fishing for many who like art.
The work will also provide, to the owners of fishing boats that need access to the sea, down the ramp to drop the boats on the river and then step into the sea.
