Governador entrega ao prefeito convênio de 2 milhões

Valor destina-se a Fixação da Boca da Barra do Rio Itapocú

A fixação da Boca da Barra do Rio Itapocú que é aguardada há muitos anos pela população de Barra Velha está se tornando uma realidade. O convênio de apoio financeiro para execução da primeira etapa de obras foi assinado nesta quinta-feira, 30, em cerimônia na Câmara de Vereadores. O Governo do Estado fará, por meio da Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional de Joinville, a liberação de R$ 2 milhões.

O ato contou com a presença do governador Raimundo Colombo, do secretário de Estado do Desenvolvimento Econômico Sustentável, Carlos Chiodini, da secretária executiva da Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional de Joinville, Simone Schramm, do prefeito de Barra Velha, Claudemir Matias, de vereadores, secretários municipais, servidores e de um grande público.

Entre os benefícios da obra, na área de saneamento básico, irá acelerar o escoamento das águas e favorecer a macrodrenagem dos municípios incluídos na bacia hidrográfica.

No aspecto ambiental, tende a melhorar significativamente a circulação das águas estuarinas e facilitar a entrada dos peixes do mar que se reproduzirem na lagoa e no rio. Outro aspecto positivo será o turismo náutico que tende a crescer com a entrada e saída de barcos para passeios.
